Preity Zinta Bought Stallenbosch Franchise in T20 Global League: Preity Zinta now became the owner of the Stallenbosch franchise of the South Africa’s Global T20 League. Stallenbosch is a town situated east of the Cape Town in South Africa. If we talk about her then who doesn’t know the well-known dimple girl, Preity Zinta of Bollywood? She started her career in Bollywood in the year 2000 with the film ‘Kya Kehna’. Though, she started getting success in the year 2003 when she starred in the highest grossing films like ‘ The Hero: Love Story of a Spy ‘, ‘ Koi Mil Gaya ‘ and ‘ KalHo Naa Ho ‘.
Later she stepped up the staircase of success with films like, ‘ Veer Zara ‘, ‘ DilChahtaHai’, ‘ Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna ‘, etc. Other than movies, she also did many other works like writing a column, stage performances, humanitarian work, ownership of IPL team.
She along with her husband, Mr. Ness Wadia and others took all the ownership rights of Mohali based cricket team, Kings XI Punjab for $76 million. She was also quoted saying, “My involvement with the team is total. I am extremely passionate about our team and I do believe that I am the team’s good luck charm, so I want to be there for everything.”
Involvement in South Africa’s Global T20 League
Recently, adding to her ownership of an IPL team, she became the owner of the Stallenboschfranchise of the South Africa’s Global T20 League.Stallenbosch is a town situated east of the Cape Town in South Africa. She stepped beyond the periphery of IPL realm and purchased a local cricket team in the South Africa league for $32 million. Other than Preity Zinta, Bollywood king Shahrukh Khan too owns two teams in South Africa, Cape Town, and Johannesburgfranchises in the forthcoming league.
Preity Zinta Bought Stallenbosch Franchise in T20 Global League
On June 20th, the franchise owners were announced. The co-founder of Brimstone Investment Corporate (BIC), Mr. MustaqEnusBreywas first named the owner of the Stallenboschfranchise. Later on, Brimstone could not get the permission from the board members of his company to purchase the franchise. Preity Zinta then bought the franchise. Though, she had requested to get her a local partner for the team. Preity Zinta said, “I learn a lot about cricket, business, and life in the IPL and the experience cannot be explained by words.
By buying the new team, it gives me a delightful opportunity to look for new talent in a different continent and take our brand to a global platform. I am excited to go to South Africa as managing KXIP has been a good experience and I am ready to increase my footprints.”

With the introduction of Bollywood stars in the South Africa T20 Global league, the stardom and experience of the global league will increase the value to the T20GL. Preity Zinta is the only woman team owner in the T20 Global league.
